It's not bragging if it's true.

Drew starts a thread to think about Ives and Revision.

In perhaps breaking one of the unspoken rules on amusicology.com (namely, not boring you all with an endless stream of dissertation-related updates), I'd like to direct everyone's attention to an article of mine that was just published:

http://caliber.ucpress.net/doi/pdf/10.1525/jams.2007.60.3.599

You have to have a current AMS membership to read it, sorry (back up and go to http://theams.us/login.php to log in). But it comes out in print soon!

Woot! Amusicology (actually, just me) descends momentarily to vanity, but we now return you to our regularly scheduled, sober discourse about musicology and meta-musicology.
